The ultimate goal for most is to live life with as few restrictions as possible, and to get more out of the things you love to do.
As a weight loss coach I find most people have the wisdom to know what habits they need to change. With my help providing guidance, structure and accountability you will make and own the critical decisions. I help increase your discipline to make the changes you need to make.
“If you are serious about making changes to your life but are not sure where to turn, I would highly recommend John. His knowledge of exercise and nutrition is outstanding. - NASM – CPT – CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
- NASM – WFS – WOMEN’S FITNESS SPECIALIST
- CHEK INSTITUTE – INTEGRATIVE MOVEMENT SCIENCE LEVEL 1
- CROSSFIT – LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION: FUNDAMENTALS
Yonit’s Coaching Philosophy
I would characterize my coaching style as functionally driven, emphasizing proper posture, strength building, and enhanced mobility. To keep my clients inspired, I like to engage them by asking about their motivations, passions, and how to relate their gym activities to their lives outside of fitness, making it feel relevant and exciting. My fitness philosophy centers on the positive effects of exercise on longevity: what we do today can enable us to age gracefully and lead more fulfilling lives. Additionally, I believe in discovering ways to move our bodies that bring us joy. When we love what we do, we’re more likely to continue. It’s crucial to foster a positive relationship with fitness and exercise.
I stay current with fitness research by enrolling in various courses, reading books, watching videos, conducting my own online research, and following other skilled trainers in areas that intrigue me.
On a personal note, I genuinely enjoy educating individuals about the importance of fitness and how to leverage it for their personal goals. I also find fulfillment in helping experienced clients elevate their journeys. In college, I studied psychology and religion, driven by a passion for understanding the mind’s workings. I later added religious studies to my curriculum to have the opportunity to study abroad in India, which may not directly apply to client work—unless, of course, their religion is fitness!

ANDREW BUSSEY – PERSONAL TRAINER
- NASM – CPT – CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Andrew’s Coaching Philosophy
My coaching style revolves around fostering a positive attitude and an optimistic approach. I focus on:
- Collaborating with clients to establish realistic short- and long-term goals
- Creating a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve those goals
All my coaching plans are tailored to align with my clients’ objectives. Whether I’m working with a teenager or an older adult, I strive to develop routines that enhance what matters most to them. I’m passionate about helping individuals discover activities they love, be it lifting weights, dancing, hiking, or participating in a group or class. Engaging in enjoyable activities makes it much easier to maintain a routine. Additionally, incorporating extra exercise or training—even when it’s challenging—can significantly enhance quality of life, especially as clients age.
I am committed to ongoing education through NASM and actively follow leading figures in health and fitness across social media, podcasts, and videos.
On a personal note, I would love to return to running. Long-distance running has always been my favorite form of exercise, although I find it the most challenging. I aim to run a half marathon at the start of the new year, so my training for that, along with continuing my strength training, is what I have planned for the remainder of 2026.

My Coaching Style:
I strive to create a comfortable and confident atmosphere for my clients in the gym. The more they grasp their workouts, the more successful their results become. Everyone has their unique reasons for wanting to get fit, and by pinpointing that “why,” we can revisit it whenever motivation wavers. Fitness should enhance how you feel and navigate daily life. My aim is to empower clients to engage in the activities they love for as long as possible. At 62, I have a deep understanding of the aging body, which informs my approach when working with older clients.
I hold a B.A. in Broadcast Communication Arts (1985) and, after 35 years in that industry, I transitioned to personal training to help individuals move and feel better in their everyday lives. I rely on reputable, science-based resources and continue my education through NASM, where I maintain my certification.

I train to support an active outdoor lifestyle—whether it’s hiking, mountain biking, or yard work—so I can fully embrace life.

My aim is to ensure my clients find joy in each session, as we collaborate to maintain a fun atmosphere through engaging conversations and setting goals together.

Brynn’s Coaching Philosophy
Fitness should enhance your life rather than take it over. I believe in establishing a solid foundation through consistency, education, and self-awareness. Training should be sustainable, empowering, and tailored to the individual. My focus is on creating habits that support health both in and out of the gym. My coaching approach is supportive, adaptable, and centered on achieving goals. I meet clients where they are and help them build a sustainable path forward. I believe in long-term progress rather than quick fixes. I emphasize proper form, education, and mindset as much as physical results. To keep my clients motivated and engaged, I customize programs to the individual, ensuring that progress feels personal and rewarding. I track milestones, regularly reassess goals, and utilize both short- and long-term indicators of progress to maintain excitement. I enjoy varying workouts, incorporating challenges, and ensuring my clients understand the “why” behind our activities.
I stay up-to-date by regularly attending workshops and continuing education courses. Additionally, I engage with scientific literature, research summaries, and other resources relevant to strength training, nutrition, and human performance.
On a personal level, my goals are centered around triathlon training. I strive to practice what I preach, prioritizing long-term health, resilience, and performance over aesthetics alone.
