Body Kinetics welcomes you to our cycling program. Strap on your cycling shoes, hop on a stationary bike, and get ready for an incredible workout experience. Our dedicated cycling studio is filled with high energy and an enthusiastic community of fellow riders. Led by our inspiring instructors, you’ll be guided through a dynamic and challenging session that will push your limits and leave you feeling empowered. With the support of your fellow cyclists, you’ll pedal through Hill Climbs, Fast Tempo climbing out of the saddle, Tempo Riding, and Sprinting, torching calories and building strength along the way. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting your fitness journey, our cycling group class offers something for everyone. Join us and become part of a supportive and motivated community that will cheer you on every step of the way.

What to Expect

All classes are taught using varying resistance (gears), RPMs, heart rate, and watts to create a high-energy, challenging, fun, 50-minute workout. Good bike riding form and safety are high priority. Try different cycling classes and instructors to see which one resonates best with you. Most importantly, classes are meant to be fun and social, so enjoy yourself!

Cycling Class FAQs

Students are encouraged to buy clip-in shoes for a better, more effective riding experience as well as to become a MyZone user. There are many benefits to using this system. You get rewarded for exercise intensity, not just duration. You will work out harder while viewing your effort during class. Finally, the instructor will make sure you exercise in a safe heart rate range.

Hill Climbing
For muscle strength and power, developing quad and glute strength (50 – 70 RPMs at higher resistance)

Fast Tempo – Climbing Out of the Saddle
Immediate cardiovascular response, working all muscle groups of the legs (70 – 80 RPMs at medium resistance)

Tempo Riding
Aerobic training for sustained cardiovascular endurance, working the hip flexors and hamstrings (80 – 115 RPMs at light resistance)

Anaerobic training and neuromuscular facilitation, engaging the nervous system (115 – 125 RPMs at very light resistance)
